San Francisco State University stationery consists of approved designs for letterhead, envelopes and business cards. These designs reinforce the University’s brand and identity, and may only be ordered through Control+P, the sole approved vendor for producing all stationary items. All University employees are required to use the approved University stationery templates. SF State does not allow changes or alterations to the design of the approved University stationery templates.
How to Order
Approved SF State stationery (letterheads, envelopes, notecards and business cards) with the branded logomark can be ordered through Control+P (the University's print shop). Control+P is the only authorized vendor that has the graphic assets and templates for the University’s stationery system.

University Letterhead
The University letterhead includes the primary logomark and is used by all administrative units and academic units.

Envelopes
- #10 envelope includes the primary logomark, is two-color and measures, 9 x 4.625 inches.
- A6 envelope includes the primary logomark is two-color and measures, 4.75 x 6.5 inches. It is the accompanying envelope for the folded notecard, however, it can be ordered on its own.
- Booklet envelope includes the primary logomark is two-color and measures, 12 x 9 inches.

Business Cards
The University business card is two-color with the Primary logomark. Athletics has a unique version and can only be used by individuals associated with that department.

Electronic Letterhead
If you intend to deliver your message through email, electronic letterhead is permitted, provided that the correct template is used. You can download an electronic version of our letterhead (Microsoft Word template). Do not print and distribute paper copies of the electronic letterhead; official University letterhead should be used for all paper-based correspondence.
