The SFSU Brand Story Town Hall

San Francisco State University has always been a place of bold ideas and diverse voices. Now, we have an opportunity to better articulate who we are and why that matters—ensuring that our story resonates with the audiences we serve. This effort is about how we collectively tell our story to prospective students and their families, alumni, campus partners and the broader communities with whom we engage.

To support this, we’re rolling out updated brand messaging and a visual identity designed to bring greater clarity, consistency and distinction to how we present San Francisco State University to the world. This isn’t just a refresh — it’s about aligning our collective voice so that our communications are more powerful, engaging and effective.

Join us for an in-person town hall on Wednesday, April 30, where we’ll introduce this work in depth.
